No one on this website is surprised by this in the least and no one should be. Mike Pence is the definition of a RepubliCuck, no different than Romney, McCain, or Bush. None of these challenges had any merit or chance of making its way through a rotted out system.
In a written statement, Pence said that: “It is my considered judgement that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not.”
